Shoelaces of running shoes need to be tied correctly at all times. A loose pair of running shoes affects your strides. When your shoelaces are too tight, you can get a pinch or two from your shoes.
- Use a Windsor knot. It’s your usual knot except that you make a knot over the first knot. It is something like making a double lace. To finish off the knot, you bring the loop to the top and tighten it.
A Windsor knot, sometimes called surgeon’s knot is often used in in neckties. Neckties stay in place the whole day. Tying your shoelaces in much the same way as a necktie would guarantee they too would stay in place until you need to untie them.
